March 6, 2025 – HelloBetter, a leading digital mental health company, today announced it has secured over €6 million in a mix of cash and media-for-equity. The funding round was led by Mutuelles Impact—a social and environmental impact fund dedicated to health and social care, initiated by Mutualité Française and managed by XAnge (Siparex Group) in partnership with Investir&+—with participation from MMV, HealthCap, Expon, and DVH Ventures. This new round brings HelloBetter’s total funding to €31 million. The announcement follows a recent €3 million non-dilutive grant aimed at developing a mental wellness solution powered by artificial intelligence.
Strategic Expansion into the French Market
One of HelloBetter’s top priorities for 2025 is expanding into the French market. Thanks to its strategic partnership with Mutuelles Impact, HelloBetter will be able to launch pilot programs and build long-term collaborations—marking the company’s first move outside the DACH region.
Through these partnerships, members will gain broader access to HelloBetter’s digital mental health offerings. In addition to its existing portfolio of digital therapeutics, the company will introduce its new AI-driven products to partners. HelloBetter also plans to engage with the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) to seek national reimbursement in France.

“This funding will allow us to achieve three key goals: becoming a reference in digital mental health in Germany, launching new innovative products, and—thanks to the support of XAnge and its 65 mutual insurance partners—bringing our proven solutions to the French market.”

“We’re excited to support Germany’s leading prescription digital therapeutics provider in its expansion into France. While the French regulatory framework is still relatively new, it offers strong potential for companies like HelloBetter that have invested early in high-quality clinical research to prove the efficacy of their digital therapies. HelloBetter has also demonstrated its ability to generate significant prescription volume and associated revenues in Germany. We believe the company is well-positioned to continue its growth across Europe”
Building on Proven Success
HelloBetter’s expansion plans are built on a strong foundation of evidence-based digital therapeutics. The company currently offers ten online therapy programs addressing a range of mental health conditions. Six of these have been approved by Germany’s Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and are part of the country’s standard public healthcare offering. More than 120,000 patients have already benefited from HelloBetter’s programs, underscoring their accessibility and effectiveness.

“As global political tensions rise, conflicts intensify, and social media becomes a breeding ground for unchecked misinformation, the pressure on mental health is perhaps greater than it has been in decades.
People need fast, accessible, and affordable support—and that’s exactly what we aim to provide on a global scale. We are committed to playing a leading role in digital mental health by offering solutions that ensure everyone can access care anytime, anywhere.”
