Surgar

SurgAR is a French MedTech startup, spun out from CHU Clermont-Ferrand and the EnCoV (Endoscopy and Computer Vision) research group. It develops AI- and AR-powered software to support minimally invasive surgery. By providing surgeons with augmented intraoperative views that highlight tumors and masses in real time, SurgAR enhances surgical planning, navigation, and decision-making—ultimately improving precision, reducing complications, and lowering reintervention rates.
